EVENT BRANDING
Weaving Tomorrow
The Challenge
Deloitte USI's Utsav is a biennial leadership gathering that brings together leaders from across the organization. With Rajasthan chosen as the host destination, the challenge wasn't simply to decorate the event with local motifs—it was to create a meaningful theme that connected the spirit of Rajasthan with Deloitte's vision for the future.
The event identity already existed. Our responsibility was to build a creative narrative that could transform the venue into an immersive brand experience.
The Idea
Rajasthan is known for its vibrant textiles, where thousands of individual threads come together to create something far greater than the sum of their parts. That became our inspiration.
Each thread represents an individual—bringing unique perspectives, experiences and ideas. When woven together, they create Tomorrow.
Visually, the concept drew inspiration from the loom itself. Just as parallel threads are carefully woven into fabric, colourful linear elements flowed through the event, converging to reveal the central theme. The result was a visual system that celebrated collaboration, leadership and collective progress while remaining deeply rooted in the culture of the host destination.
The Approach
The identity was extended across the entire event ecosystem—from the entrance experience and stage design to environmental graphics, signage and delegate touchpoints.
A restrained visual language, combined with bold linear compositions and premium lighting, allowed the concept to feel contemporary while subtly reflecting Rajasthan's rich textile heritage. Rather than relying on traditional decorative elements, the experience was built around a single, scalable visual idea that remained consistent across every interaction.
My role
As Associate Creative Director, I partnered with the copy team during the concept development phase to shape the creative direction. While the initial thematic thought emerged collaboratively, I developed the loom-inspired visual metaphor and translated it into a scalable design system. I led the art direction, visual language and creative execution, ensuring the concept remained cohesive across every event touchpoint.
